About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.
Schedule
- 13-week contract position
- Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends
- No call requirements
- 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage patient care during labor and delivery
- Provide support and education to patients and families throughout the labor process
- Perform necessary medical interventions as directed, including C-Section circulation and SVE competency
- Utilize various types of medical equipment, including Novii and fetal monitoring systems
Requirements
- Active RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE certifications
- Intermediate fetal monitoring skills
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
Qualifications
- Competence in internal fetal monitor placement is preferred
