About the role

Meda Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, New York.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a labor and delivery unit.
• Assist physicians during deliveries and monitor mother and baby health.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as an RN.
• Current state licensure.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN certification (at minimum).

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of labor and delivery procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
