About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit. This is a 13-week travel contract position with a schedule of 36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, Tuesday start).

Responsibilities

• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal health during labor.
• Assist in labor management and delivery procedures, including Cesarean sections.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans.
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding labor and delivery.
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and best practices.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Operating Room (O.R.) Circulator experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
