About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Women's Services unit in Dickson, TN. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in labor and delivery, with the capability to care for mothers throughout the labor and recovery process and manage the transition of newborns. This is a 13-week travel contract position with full-time hours (3 shifts per week, rotating weekends and holidays).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to laboring mothers and their newborns.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and perform fetal assessments.
• Assist in complex deliveries including C-sections, forceps, and vacuum-assisted deliveries.
• Administer medications and perform procedures as needed according to protocols.
• Engage in daily and safety rounding on all patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care plans and adjustments as needed.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and NRP certification required.
• Fetal monitoring education and experience with inductions.
• Experience with high-risk scenarios such as shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
