About the role
VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery.
Location: Salem, VA.
Setting: Hospital.
Contract length: 13 weeks (the posting also references a 12‑week duration).
Shift: 12 hours.
Weekly hours: 36.
Daily schedule: 07:00 – 19:00.
Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a busy hospital setting.
- Administer medications and manage OB procedures, including epidural placement and vaginal deliveries.
- Assist with obstetrical emergencies and common complications.
- Support antepartum triage and postpartum patient care.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Requirements
- RN licensure
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NRP certification

Pay
Pay range: $1,903.44 – $1,998.61 (based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week).
Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Daily shift: 07:00 – 19:00.
