About the role
The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive care in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) settings within an 8-bed unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope LDRP nursing care to mothers and newborns.
- Circulate C-sections and manage high-risk labor scenarios.
- Conduct fetal heart monitoring and Pitocin titration.
- Engage in immediate newborn resuscitation and stabilization.
- Perform routine assessments and postpartum care for stable mothers and infants.
- Adapt to changing census and staffing needs between labor, nursery, and couplet care assignments.
Requirements
- Active RN Licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC.
- 2 years of RN experience in a Labor and Delivery context.
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring and STABLE preferred.
- Ability to circulate C-sections and manage high-risk labor.
- Competent in postpartum/couplet care and neonatal resuscitation.

Schedule
36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts, days. Assignment duration is 13 weeks.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
