About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to join our team in Dallas, TX. This 13-week contract position involves providing high-quality care in a high-risk obstetrical unit, including labor and delivery. You will manage various patient conditions and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetrical bedside care, including cervical ripening, triage, and labor management.
• Circulate in c-sections and recover high-acuity patients in a labor and delivery setting.
• Utilize appropriate equipment, such as GE fetal monitors, to monitor fetal well-being.
• Document patient care in Meditech and CPNS systems.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery care.
• High-risk obstetrical bedside training required.
• Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate preferred.
• Current RN license mandatory.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM, rotating weekends required.
