Travel L&D RN - $1,694 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dickson, Tennessee. This is a 13-week contract position offering full-time hours with rotating weekends and holidays.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 8-week duration (assignment length listed as 8 weeks; contract position noted as 13-week)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Monitor and assess the condition of mothers in labor and recovery
• Provide couplet care for mothers and their newborns, including assessments and transition protocols
• Manage and respond to potential OB emergencies such as shoulder dystocia and post-partum hemorrhage
• Conduct fetal monitoring and administer inductions using Pitocin and cervidil
• Perform procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, and vacuum or forceps-assisted deliveries
• Responsible for labor management, post-partum care, and neonatal assessment

Required Experience & Certifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Fetal Monitoring training required
• Labor and delivery nursing experience is a must, including labor management and newborn care
