About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients during labor and delivery
• Assist physicians during deliveries
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Document patient care and progress in medical records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in labor and delivery preferred

Qualifications

• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Knowledge of obstetric procedures and protocols
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
