Travel L&D Registered Nurse - $2,285 per week

Job Overview

Position Type: Contract (Travel)
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery, Nursery, and Post-Partum
Target Start Date: 07-06-2026 (Orientation is weekly on Mondays)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights (1900 - 0730)
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend rotates / as needed
Call Requirements: 3 (12-hour shifts) per 4-week schedule

Location & Facility

Facility: Highpoint Health – Riverview with Ascension Saint Thomas (Critical Access Hospital)
Location: 158 Hospital Drive, Carthage, TN 37030
Traveler Radius Rule: Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate.

EHR System

Dress Code: Any color scrubs (No casual or other facility apparel)
EHR System: Meditech (Centricity and Meditech experience preferred)

Unit Details (Labor & Delivery / Nursery / Postpartum)

Unit Size: 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds
Patient Population: Maternity women and newborns
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Float Requirements: As needed across L/D, Nursery, and Post-Partum units
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Labor

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of Labor and Delivery experience. Must have fetal monitoring experience. (Couplet care experience is preferred).
• Licensure: Active Tennessee (TN) or Compact State RN License.
• Certifications: * AHA BLSACLSNRPAWHONNPALS preferred
