Travel Ironworker

Position Overview

The ironworker must have the ability to install pre-engineered metal buildings, perform connecting work, and work at above ground elevations. Familiarity with basic hand signals and basic rigging knowledge, safety knowledge while working at heights is required. Experience with pre-engineered buildings, pole barns, metal studs, and welding is a plus.

• Work in various weather conditions.
• Able to perform physically demanding work for 8+ hours a day.
• Climb ladders.
• Bend, twist, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Prolonged standing, walking.
• Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
• Use power tools in safe and efficient manner.
