Travel IR Technologist - $3,707 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin, starting September 28, 2026. The position is at an acute care Level 2 trauma facility with an IR/Vascular tech unit comprising 7 procedure suites (4 Cath Lab/EP, 3 IR/Vascular) averaging 20+ cases per day. The technologist will work primarily day shifts, using Cerner/Merge EMR systems and Siemens equipment, and will be involved in a broad range of IR and vascular procedures including neuro interventions, biopsies, line placements, and vascular repairs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure suites for IR and vascular cases
• Ensure radiation safety setup and compliance
• Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopic and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
• Perform room turnover between cases

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications
• Professional state license as applicable
• Acute care, Level 2 trauma facility experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred (facility transitioning to Epic)
• Ability to scrub in and assist physicians with device exchange, guidewire manipulation, catheter placement, balloon and stent deployment, and sheath removals
