Travel IR Technologist - $3,381 per week

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel assignment in Kansas City, Kansas.

About the Role

Work in the Interventional Radiology (IR) unit of a large hospital environment. This high-volume, fast-paced setting handles 60-65 cases per day across 7 rooms, managing cases neck-down with some light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies. The unit handles all lines for the entire hospital, including outpatient services, using Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee single-plane systems (no biplane functionality).

Schedule

• Day shift: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday with a rotating day off)
• No weekend requirements
• On-call as needed
• No holiday work required
• May float to Cambridge IR

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a siloed, high-volume unit

Requirements

• Active ARRT Radiography certification (required in hand)
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (required; pending accepted at start)
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of IR and scrub experience (required)
• 3+ years of IR experience, large hospital experience, and peripheral/neurovascular experience (preferred)
• New graduates will not be considered for this position
