MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Wausau, Wisconsin. Assignment starts 08/17/2026.

Schedule

• 36 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts, flexible
• Employment type: Travel

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to the Interventional Radiology team and assist with patient care.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.
• Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images as specified by physicians.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, and interpreting diagnostic data.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective, and compassionate patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence focused on timely, patient-centered care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
