About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical support during invasive cardiovascular and radiological imaging procedures
- Maintains sterile conditions and operates imaging equipment
- Monitors, documents procedure images and events from the control room
- Assists physicians during cardiac and vascular procedures
- Edicates patients and families on pre- and post-procedure expectations
- Maintains appropriate stock levels for complex interventional and diagnostic procedures
- Completes all required documentation
- Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiology/Cath Lab required; 2 years preferred
- One of the following certifications required: ARRT-R, ARRT-CV, ARRT-VI, CCI-RCIS, or CCI-RCES
- Fluoroscopy Operator Registration required for candidates holding RCIS or RCES designation (not required for ARRT-certified candidates)
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS (AHA) required; must not expire prior to start date
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred
- Active license required if applicable

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
4x10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday with a rotating day off
