About the role
Bestica is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Denver, Colorado.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance during invasive cardiac and vascular procedures.
- Absorb and assist physicians with cardiac and vascular imaging.
- Function as a scrub technologist, maintaining strict sterile technique.
- Operate cardiovascular imaging equipment and monitor the control room during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedure images, events, and technical information.
- Support patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab for diagnostic and complex interventional procedures.
- Maintain appropriate inventory and ensure essential supplies are readily available.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, efficiency, and patient experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and procedure-ready environment.
- Collaborate effectively with the entire cardiovascular care team.
Requirements
- Cath Lab experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong understanding of invasive cardiovascular procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- 2+ years of Cardiology/Cath Lab experience
- Associate's degree
- Experience supporting complex cardiovascular interventions
Skills
- BLS – American Heart Association
- ACLS – American Heart Association
- Fluoroscopy Certification
- One applicable cardiovascular/imaging credential, such as: ARRT, RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCES, Registered Respiratory Therapist with cardiovascular-specific certification
