Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,738 per week

About the role

The position involves assisting in various interventional procedures, preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring accurate diagnostic images are obtained. It requires strong interpersonal skills, clear communication, physical stamina, and quick critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for interventional procedures
• Operate imaging equipment
• Absorb and interpret diagnostic images
• Maintain a safe, sterile, and organized procedure room
• Follow facility protocols under the supervision of the supervising physician and department leadership

Requirements

• ARRT certification
• IR certification preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Clear and effective communication with patients and clinical team members
• Quick critical-thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
• Physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and assist in patient positioning

Pay

Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
