About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the Interventional Radiology department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care and preparation for procedures
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor patient vitals
- Support the interventional radiologists during procedures
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Active State License (Nursys verification)
- Valid driver’s license
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in interventional radiology technology
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
Skills
- Proficient in operating interventional radiology equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
