Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,625 per week
Description
Work in an Angiography/IR department within a Heart and Vascular Tower, featuring 3 labs (2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR).
High-acuity patient population including stroke, trauma, and critically ill patients.
1:1 patient ratio.
Team structure consists of 3-4 person teams, typically 2 techs and 2 RNs, led by a Lead Tech.
Equipment includes IVUS, Shockwave, AngiJet, and Jet Stream.
Documentation via Epic Cupid.
4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with on-call requirements.
Procedures include Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, Trauma, TCAR, TEVAR, and peripheral vascular work including PE/DVT thrombectomies.
Requirements
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC accepted; certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the start date).
- ARRT (RTR) or RCIS certification required; license required if applicable.
- Minimum 6 months of IR/Angio experience within the last 6 months.
- ICU or ER experience required.
- Proficiency with critical care drip management.
- Experience with TCAR, TEVAR, peripheral vascular procedures, and PE/DVT thrombectomies required.
- SSN and DOB required for consideration.
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri).
About the Role
This is a Rapid Response position; candidates must be available to start within 5–7 days of offer.
No RTO or special scheduling requests will be accommodated.
Navy blue and black scrubs required for techs.
This facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center.
Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
