About the role
The Interventional Radiology Clinical Laboratory (CL) specialist position supports cardiologists, radiologists, and registered nurses by following clearly defined procedures to execute and analyze interventional radiology procedures. The selected candidate will integrate education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to ensure safe and precise treatment under the supervision of a Cardiologist. The position requires collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Responsibilities
- Accessing and managing ports
- Performing angiography procedures, catheterizations, and vascular interventions
- Conducting device placements and various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the interventional radiology suite
- Managing sterile techniques
- Operating and understanding complex imaging and intervention systems
Requirements
- Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and Fluoro Permit
- Valid California license
- At least 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiology Labs
- Experience with Cath Lab cases
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiology clinical laboratories
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, days (starting between 07:00 and 10:00 AM)
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
