Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,525 per week

About the role

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 24, 2026, at Alexandria, Virginia. The position will work 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture images during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
