Additional Information
The department manages five interventional radiology rooms, including Siemens Artis Z units, Philips Azurion systems, and a C-Arm. Case types include neuro, vascular, urologic, hepatic, and trauma interventions, with procedures such as aneurysm coiling, stent placement, Y-90 treatments, and mediports. The facility handles emergent cases frequently due to its level one trauma designation and performs a variety of interventions involving specialized systems such as Jetstream, AngioJet, CSI, IVUS, and Pnumbra. The technologist will be involved in assisting during neuro and other complex procedures, working closely with providers in a multidisciplinary environment.
