Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,381 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Kansas City, Kansas. This fast-paced role requires 2+ years of IR and scrub experience.

You will work in the IR department of a large hospital, handling 60-65 cases per day across 7 rooms. The unit manages cases from the neck down, with some light neuro overflow such as thyroid biopsies, and handles all lines for the entire hospital, including outpatient services. Equipment includes Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee single-plane systems.

Schedule

• Day shift: 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday with a rotating day off)
• No weekend requirements
• On-call as needed
• May float to Cambridge IR

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology procedures in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Scrub experience required for cases
• Operate Siemens Artis icono, Artis Q, and Artis zee single-plane systems
• Handle all lines for the hospital, including outpatient services
• Manage cases from neck-down with occasional light neuro overflow (e.g., thyroid biopsies)

Requirements

• ARRT Radiography certification (required in hand)
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (may start with KS license pending)
• AHA BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of IR experience (required)
• Scrub experience (required)
• 3+ years of IR experience, large hospital experience, and peripheral/neurovascular experience (preferred)
• New graduates will not be considered
