About the role
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring RT(ARRT) registration and training in neuro or CT along with IR.
Responsibilities
- Work in an interventional radiology unit within a hospital radiology department
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including thrombectomy and angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
- Work 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
- Weekend and on-call coverage required
- Orientation held weekly, every Monday barring holidays
Requirements
- Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
- ARRT registration (RT) required
- MA state license required if applicable
- Training in neuro or CT along with IR required
- GE/Siemens equipment knowledge required
- Scrub and circulator experience required
- Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) preferred
- Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred
Qualifications
- Must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least six months prior to starting, applies to previous travel, perm, or per diem employees
- Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility to be considered, no local candidates accepted
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
- Interview availability must be provided at time of consideration

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
