About the role

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring RT(ARRT) registration and training in neuro or CT along with IR.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an interventional radiology unit within a hospital radiology department
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including thrombectomy and angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty
  • Work 10-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • Weekend and on-call coverage required
  • Orientation held weekly, every Monday barring holidays

Requirements

  • Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
  • ARRT registration (RT) required
  • MA state license required if applicable
  • Training in neuro or CT along with IR required
  • GE/Siemens equipment knowledge required
  • Scrub and circulator experience required
  • Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge (PE/Stroke) preferred
  • Experience with angio procedures such as TIPS and angioplasty preferred

Qualifications

  • Must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least six months prior to starting, applies to previous travel, perm, or per diem employees
  • Candidates must live 50+ miles from the facility to be considered, no local candidates accepted
  • RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
  • Interview availability must be provided at time of consideration

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
