LanceSoft is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Interventional Radiology TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 10 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelInterventional Technologist I – Pediatric Cath Lab Job Summary: We are seeking an Interventional Technologist I to assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures in a Pediatric Cath Lab setting. The technologist will support interventional procedures, maintain sterile technique, operate specialized imaging equipment, and provide safe, high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:Assist physicians with interventional and invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, angiography, device implantation, biopsies, and other image-guided procedures.Operate specialized radiologic and imaging equipment according to established protocols.Prepare patients for procedures and provide comfort and support throughout the process.Function as a scrub technologist during procedures and maintain a strict sterile field.Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient care.Perform post-procedure quality checks and ensure required documentation is complete.Transfer images and technical data into appropriate electronic systems for physician review.Perform equipment quality control, cleaning, disinfecting, and routine maintenance.Participate in quality assurance, audits, and performance improvement activities.Provide on-call coverage as assigned.May assist with training, onboarding, and mentoring of new team members.Requirements:Interventional Technology experience required.Cath Lab experience preferred.Travel and trauma experience are NOT required; candidates without either may be considered.Graduate of an approved post-secondary health science program, such as Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Ultrasound, or Paramedic/EMT.Entry-to-practice education must be clearly listed on the resume:Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, OR2-year RCIS program.AHA BLS and ACLS required.ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical imaging, sterile technique, patient positioning, and HIPAA requirements.Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and critical-thinking skills.Important: Interventional Technology experience is required.
