Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,307 per week
About the role
Vibra Travels is seeking a Corporate Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for a 13-week assignment in Roanoke, Virginia. This position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and is suitable for those with 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures (e.g., angiograms, embolizations, stent placements)
- Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff
- Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, C-arms, and CT-guided systems
- Show exceptional attention to detail and multitasking in high-pressure environments
- Communicate effectively and think critically
Requirements
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- ARRT (VI) or (CV) certification preferred
Qualifications/Skills
- Proficient in assisting with IR procedures
- Strong understanding of radiation safety, sterile technique, and image-guided procedural protocols
- Skilled in operating imaging equipment
- Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
