Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,282 per week
Travel position in Schenectady, New York for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. Assignment starts 09/07/2026, lasts 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM).
Schedule
- 40 hours guaranteed weekly
- No block scheduling
- Infrequent floating to OR to set up C-arm for bypass with stent placement procedures
- Weekend shifts every 4th or 5th weekend
- Call duty one weeknight per week
Responsibilities
- Vascular access: hemodialysis catheter insertion/exchanges
- CVS access: port-a-catheter placement, CT & US guided biopsies, chest tube insertions, thoracentesis, paracentesis
- Insertion & exchanges of drainage catheters, nephrostomy tubes, biliary drains, PleurX catheters for effusions & ascites
- Angiograms with interventions (stenting, angioplasty, etc.)
- Gastrostomy and jejunostomy exchanges
- Monthly half-day support for sports medicine physician performing ESIs and other simple procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience
- ARRT certification required
- RT degree and VIR certification preferred
- Prior travel experience not required
