Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist position available in New Haven, Connecticut.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture necessary images.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as directed.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience in performing interventional radiology procedures.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
• Pass a background check.

Skills

• Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.

Schedule

40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts between 7:30a - 8 p.m., with options for 2x12s, 2x8s, or 5x8s schedules. No weekends or holidays.
