About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 14-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
  • Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, CT scanners, and MRI systems.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Maryland.
  • Experience in performing interventional procedures and familiarity with related equipment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology.

Skills
