About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 14-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Baltimore, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, CT scanners, and MRI systems.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records as required.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Maryland.
- Experience in performing interventional procedures and familiarity with related equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff.
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and patient care guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in interventional radiology.
