About the role
Interventional Radiology Clinical (INTRA CL) position located in Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves supporting vascular procedures within a hospital or medical center setting, including scrub, circulate, and monitor duties.
Schedule
- Rotating shift hours, 10 hours per shift
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Call schedule includes every third evening and weekend, with on-call experience compensated
- Holiday coverage required unless the facility is closed
- Call back is compensated at 1.5x with a 2-hour minimum
- On-call pay is $9 per hour
Responsibilities
- Support vascular procedures in a hospital or medical center setting
- Perform scrub, circulate, and monitor duties
Requirements
- 12 months of current interventional vascular or interventional radiology laboratory experience in a hospital or medical center
- Scrub, circulate, and monitor experience
- Current or prior support experience in operating room procedures
- Active ARRT (R) certification required
- IR lab skills checklist specific to discipline required
- Professional references within 24 months
- Driver’s license document required
- BLS through the American Heart Association or ARC preferred
- Iowa radiology license highly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Level I trauma experience
- Peripheral vascular experience
- Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) experience
