Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,205 per week

About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Nashville, Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist with fluoroscopy, angiography, and other imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate equipment such as ultrasound machines, CT scanners, and X-ray machines.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in performing interventional procedures.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field preferred.
• Current state licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• ACR (American College of Radiology) certification preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
