About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Tacoma, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
- Operate equipment and monitor patient responses during procedures.
- Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
- Ensure sterile technique and safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in interventional radiology.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- At least one year of relevant experience in interventional radiology.
Skills
- Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
Benefits
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
