About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, in Salem, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure and ensuring patient comfort.
• Operate equipment to capture images and monitor patient responses during procedures.
• Document all procedures accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure sterile technique and follow infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a medical imaging setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protection practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience with fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment.
• Proficiency in using PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System).
