About the role
HCS 247 is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and applying contrast agents
- Operate equipment during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Document procedures accurately and maintain medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
Requirements
- 4 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Basic computer skills
