Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,080 per week

About the Role

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Reston, Virginia. This position is located at 1850 Town Center Pkway, Reston, VA 20190, in the CCL unit.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: Day Shift, 10 hours, start time 06:30 AM, end time 04:30 PM
• Duration: 12 weeks
• Hours per week: 40
• Scheduling: 4x10s or 3x12s available
• Call requirement: approximately 10 days per month
• Call back required within 30 minutes

Unit Details

• Number of Beds: One Cath Lab and one EP Lab
• Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff members to 1 patient in procedural room; 1 staff member to 2-3 patients in pre/post area
• Unit staffing: No unit secretaries; techs are used in lab spaces
• Floating policy: None
• Experience required: At least two years in the Cath Lab

Equipment & Technology

• Cath Lab equipment: MacLab, Acist, Baxter IV pumps, Boston Sci IVUS and DFR, Zoll defibrillators, Client ultrasounds, Pyxis for medications, Impella, and IABPs
• EP Lab equipment: CardioLab, Micropace, Affera, Carto, Client for ICE, plasma blade, Baylis, and Pyxis for medications
• Documentation systems: Expanse, MacLab, and CardioLab

Procedures Performed

• Diagnostic and PCI Cath
• STEMI
• Pacemaker/ICD Implants
• Cardiac ablations
• Watchman procedures (starting September)

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS

Required Skills & Experience

• Must have: ACLS/BLS, RN
• Advanced skills needed: STEMI experience, PCI and diagnostic Cath
• EP experience preferred

Scrubs will be provided.
