Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,050 per week

About the role

ProLink Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture necessary images for diagnostic and procedural purposes.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and other medications as required.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain aseptic conditions during procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure smooth and efficient care.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized educational program in radiologic technology or related field.
• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.

Skills

• Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
