About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures.
- Operate equipment and perform technical procedures in an interventional radiology setting.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document procedures accurately and maintain records.
Requirements
- 36 hours per week
- 9 hours shift, days
- 24 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting
- Cardiac Cath Lab/CCL experience in a hospital or medical center setting (preferred)
- Experienced & proficient in Endovascular (preferred)
- Iowa Radiology license (highly preferred) -- will consider licensing candidates -- issuance timeline varies
- Active ARRT or RCIS/CCI certification (required)
- Experience in thrombolytics (required)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal education program in radiologic technology or related field
- Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist in Iowa
Skills
- Proficiency in operating interventional radiology equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
