Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,003 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for an assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is scheduled to start on August 19, 2026, and lasts 20 weeks with a 40-hour workweek.

Schedule

• Shift: 8-hour days (08:30 – 17:00), Monday – Friday
• Call requirement: 1 day per week (rotation includes Tuesday, Thursday, Monday, Wednesday, and weekends)
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend every 6-7 weeks
• Unit orientation: 40 hours
• Return-to-office (RTO): Up to 7 days auto-approved (excluding holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during the first week

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Abdominal and Pelvic Procedures: Angioplasty, Chemoembolization, Embolization, Inferior Vena Cava (IVC) filter placement/removal, Mesenteric Angiogram, Pelvic angiography, Selective visceral angiography, Superior vena cavogram
  • Genitourinary Studies/Procedures: Angiography of genitourinary system, Catheter/drain exchange, Ureteral Stent Placement
  • Neurological Studies/Procedures: Carotid Angiography, Embolization, Stent placement, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Vertebroplasty
  • Vascular Studies/Procedures: Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, TIPS
  • Venous Access: Central Venous Access (non-Tunneled/PICC lines)
• Maintain and stock equipment, including PACS and supplies
• Serve as room circulator and scrub, maintaining a sterile field
• Prepare access sites and set up equipment for procedures
• Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols
• Utilize 3D imaging and follow isolation precautions/PPE guidelines
• Chart using EPIC system
• Lead tech experience and use of Rapid Response/Code teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• Neuro experience required
• Previous stroke-certified hospital experience preferred
• Certifications: ARRT, BLS (required); ARRT CI, ARRT VI (preferred)
• Experience with GE Innova IGS, Siemens, or Ultrasound (preferred)
• Skills in vascular closure systems and EKG lead placement (preferred)
• Travel experience required
• Must comply with pre-start module completion requirements
• Local candidates (within 50 miles) may be subject to a lower pay rate
