Travel position in Wilmington, North Carolina for an Interventional Radiology Technologist. Assignment starts 08/10/2026, lasts 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.
Responsibilities
- Perform neurovascular procedures including intracranial thrombectomies, flow diversions, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, MMA embolization, and carotid stenting
- Operate and maintain two biplane suites (Siemens ICONO) and associated imaging systems (Fuji Synapse PACS, Brainlab, EPIC Dimensions)
- Scrub and circulate in a sterile neurovascular IR lab
- Chart in EPIC and manage medications via Pyxis
- Take call one night per weekend and every fourth weekend (Friday 5 p.m. to Monday 6:30 a.m.)
- Participate in 80-hour (two-week) orientation
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
- ARRT(R) certification and current BLS
- Proficiency in neurovascular procedures: intracranial thrombectomies, flow diversions, aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization, MMA embolization, carotid stenting
- Experience with 2 biplane suites, Siemens ICONO, Fuji Synapse PACS, Brainlab, and EPIC
- First-time travelers accepted if experienced; local candidates accepted (lower rate applies)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3–4 years of neurovascular experience
- ARRT VI certification
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts (06:30–17:00)
- Call: one night weekly plus every fourth weekend (Friday 5 p.m.–Monday 6:30 a.m.)
- Up to 7 days of pre-approved RTO (no holidays; must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week)
- 2-week (80-hour) orientation
