Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,994 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week position in Mesa, Arizona. The role involves operating fluoroscopic equipment, assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures, and monitoring patients.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support
• Absorb and report on abnormal patient activity during procedures
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
• Solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ARRT (VI)
• BLS
• 2 Years of experience

Skills

• Knowledge of radiation protection standards
• Understanding of physiology and anatomy
• Knowledge of intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
• Ability to operate fluoroscopic equipment
