About the role
BHS Workforce is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting August 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
- Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Georgia.
- Experience in interventional radiology or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal training program in radiologic technology or related field.
- Successful completion of a state-approved registry exam.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
