About the role

BHS Workforce is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting August 3, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
  • Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
  • Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in the state of Georgia.
  • Experience in interventional radiology or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal training program in radiologic technology or related field.
  • Successful completion of a state-approved registry exam.

Skills

  • Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with patients and colleagues.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
