Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,906 per week
Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist position in Lynchburg, Virginia. 13‑week contract starting 11/30/2026, 40 hours per week (10‑hour day shifts).
Requirements
- Current license in good standing
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials
- Eighteen months of Special Procedures/Interventional experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting
- Additional requirements determined by the client facility
Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to the IR team for patient care in the Interventional Radiology Department
- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting
- Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images per physician specifications
- Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures: monitoring, passing instruments and catheters, observing patient response, maintaining sterile field, interpreting and evaluating diagnostic data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines
- Deliver quality, cost‑effective patient care in a professional manner
- Maintain a patient‑focused environment of excellence with timely, compassionate care
- Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly
