About the role
Interventional Radiology (IR) Clinical Specialist position in a Level II Trauma Center. The role involves performing advanced IR procedures in a busy hospital environment with a skilled interdisciplinary team, including Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and advanced practitioners. The position requires a commitment to assisting with complex minimally invasive procedures and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting with a multidisciplinary team supporting adult and geriatric patient populations.
The facility utilizes EPIC charting, and scrubs can be any color except reddish orange. The position involves working in high-tech IR suites with diverse procedures such as cerebral angiography, stroke intervention, Y90, chemoembolization, cryoablation, venography, biopsies, and vascular access.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures
- Assist with complex minimally invasive procedures including biopsies, ablations, kyphoplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, venous access, and use of special equipment such as C-Arm
- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-tech IR suite environment
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team including Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Surgeons
- Adhere to travel compliance and facility-specific policies
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Certifications: ARRT R, ARRT VI, BLS
- Washington State license
- Flexibility to work 5-7 days per month on call
- Availability to work 3 of the 5 holidays during the assignment
- References required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C-Arm, biopsies, ablations, kyphoplasty, angiograms, nephrograms, venous access, and special equipment
Schedule
- 10-hour shifts, days
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks (09/21/2026 to 12/21/2026)
