Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,890 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Springfield, Missouri. This position requires 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Monitor patients during all procedures.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to ensure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure.
• Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to accurately interpret examination requests, including the location, appearance, and function of systems susceptible to radiologic exposure.
• Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.
• Vascular Interventional (VI) certificate preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
