About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Manassas, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in interventional procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and timely.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in interventional radiology or related field.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
