Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,826 per week

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Roanoke, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Assist in the planning and execution of interventional procedures using fluoroscopy and other imaging modalities.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and administering contrast media.
• Operate imaging equipment and record images accurately.
• Document patient information and procedure details in the medical record.
• Ensure sterile technique and maintain a safe environment during procedures.

Requirements

• Current licensure as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in Virginia.
• Experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and interventional radiology techniques.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Completion of an accredited interventional radiology technologist program.
• Current certification in interventional radiology technology.
