Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,797 per week

About the role

Coast Medical Service is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 12, 2026, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
• Operate imaging equipment to capture accurate images during procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist from a recognized organization.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a medical imaging setting.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for licensure in North Carolina.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Skills

• Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
