About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a position in Roswell, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
- Operate equipment such as fluoroscopy, angiography machines, and ultrasound devices.
- Monitor patient vital signs during procedures and report any changes to the supervising physician.
- Prepare and maintain medical records and documentation related to procedures performed.
Requirements
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
- Experience in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in an interventional radiology setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or a related field.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
Skills
- Proficiency with medical imaging equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to follow complex procedures and protocols.
