About the role
The role involves performing interventional/vascular procedures with a strong focus on patient positioning, radiation safety, and technical competency.
Responsibilities
- Perform interventional/vascular procedures
- Ensure patient positioning is correct
- Maintain radiation safety protocols
- Operate with technical competency
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures
- ARRT Cardio Vascular Intervention (ARRT-CV) or ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT Vascular Intervention (ARRT-VI)
- Registered CVI Specialist (RCIS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS-I)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire (required)
- Competency in interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
- Required special/advanced procedure registry as outlined above
- Understanding of anatomy and pathology and how they affect the quality of a procedure
- Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English and display a positive attitude
