Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $2,760 per week

About the role

The role involves performing interventional/vascular procedures with a strong focus on patient positioning, radiation safety, and technical competency.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional/vascular procedures
• Ensure patient positioning is correct
• Maintain radiation safety protocols
• Operate with technical competency

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in Interventional Special Procedures
• ARRT Cardio Vascular Intervention (ARRT-CV) or ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT Vascular Intervention (ARRT-VI)
• Registered CVI Specialist (RCIS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS-I)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire (required)
• Competency in interventional/vascular procedures, patient positioning, exposure factors, and radiation protection
• Required special/advanced procedure registry as outlined above
• Understanding of anatomy and pathology and how they affect the quality of a procedure
• Ability to communicate and understand verbal and written English and display a positive attitude
