About the role

Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting September 14, 2026, in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of an interventional radiologist.
• Prepare and monitor patients for procedures, including positioning and monitoring vital signs.
• Operate equipment and perform technical aspects of procedures as directed.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are followed.

Requirements

• Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of interventional radiology techniques and equipment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited program in radiologic technology or related field.
• Current state license as an Interventional Radiology Technologist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Skills

• Proficiency with interventional radiology equipment.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
